Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Day 1: Delhi to Manali (overnight Volvo) - Board the evening AC Volvo from Delhi and travel overnight towards Manali.
Day 2Day 2: Manali to Kaza (200 km, 8-10 hrs) - Meet your Innova Crysta in Manali, drive through the Atal Tunnel and over Kunzum Pass into Spiti. Overnight in upgraded Kaza hotel.
Day 3Day 3: Kaza high villages (80 km) - At your own pace: Langza's fossils and Buddha statue, Hikkim's world-famous high post office and Komic monastery. Overnight Kaza.
Day 4Day 4: Kaza to Chandratal (110 km) - Key Monastery, Kibber and Chicham Bridge, then over Kunzum Pass to Chandratal Lake. Overnight in a lakeside-area camp.
Day 5Day 5: Chandratal to Manali (170 km) - Morning at the lake, drive back via Batal and the Atal Tunnel to Manali, then board the overnight Volvo to Delhi.
Day 6Day 6: Arrive Delhi - Reach Delhi in the morning. Trip ends with memories of Spiti's villages, monasteries and Chandratal.
