Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Shimla after your overnight journey from Delhi. Drive via Kufri, Narkanda and Kinnaur Gate to Chitkul/Sangla, with scenic Himalayan views and stargazing.
Day 2Explore Chitkul before driving towards Tabo. Visit Khab Sangam and Nako Lake, then enter Spiti Valley and reach Tabo by evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3Explore the ancient Tabo Monastery and visit cliffside Dhankar Monastery. Continue to Kaza and enjoy free time exploring its local markets and cafés.
Day 4Visit Key Monastery, Hikkim’s famous post office, Komic Gompa and Langza’s giant Buddha statue. Explore the high-altitude villages before returning to Kaza.
Day 5Visit Chicham Bridge and cross Kunzum Pass before trekking to Chandratal Lake. Enjoy spectacular landscapes and a peaceful night of stargazing at the campsite.
Day 6Drive from Chandratal to Manali via Chhatru, crossing off-road stretches and water crossings. Pass through the iconic Atal Tunnel before reaching Manali.
Day 7Enjoy Manali sightseeing, adventure activities and Hadimba Temple. Explore Mall Road and Old Manali before boarding the evening Volvo bus to Delhi.
Day 8Arrive in Delhi in the morning and conclude your Spiti-Manali adventure with wonderful memories, photos, experiences and new friendships.
