Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Begin your journey from Gandhinagar by overnight train to Chandigarh. Enjoy scenic views, local flavors and fun interactions with fellow travelers along the way.
Day 2Arrive in Chandigarh and drive to Shimla. Check in, relax and spend the day exploring Mall Road, cafés, bakeries, shopping and Shimla’s colonial charm.
Day 3Drive through Kufri and Narkanda along the Indo-Tibetan Highway. Cross Kinnaur Gate and enjoy views of Kinnaur Kailash and Sangla Valley before reaching Chitkul.
Day 4Explore Chitkul before driving towards Nako. Visit Khab Sangam and frozen Nako Lake, then enter Spiti Valley and reach Tabo by evening.
Day 5Visit the ancient Tabo Monastery and explore Dhankar Monastery with its dramatic cliffside views. See the frozen Lingti Waterfall before driving to Kaza.
Day 6Explore Key Monastery and Chicham Bridge, surrounded by spectacular Spiti landscapes. Spot wildlife around Kibber and enjoy free time in Kaza.
Day 7Visit the high-altitude villages of Komic, Langza and Hikkim. See the giant Buddha statue, search for fossils and send a postcard from Hikkim’s famous post office.
Day 8Leave Kaza and travel through scenic Spiti and Kinnaur villages towards Kalpa. Reach by evening and enjoy stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash range.
Day 9Travel from Kalpa to Shimla through picturesque mountain roads. Reach by evening and enjoy free time exploring the vibrant Mall Road before your overnight stay.
Day 10Travel from Shimla to Chandigarh and board the return train to Ahmedabad. Relax, enjoy the journey and share memorable moments with fellow travelers.
Day 11After an overnight train journey, arrive at Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station around 3:10 PM. Bid farewell to fellow travelers as the journey concludes.
