Day 1Day 01: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (Approx 125 Kms / 4 Hrs. 30 mints) On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station/Ixb Airport, our driver will meet and greet you and board you to the vehicle. Then you will make your way to the hotel in Gangtok. Rest for leisure, Dinner and overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2Day 02: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir (Approx 53 Km / 3 Hrs. one-way) Post breakfast, visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. / 37 km / 02 hr from Gangtok), a high altitude sacred lake. It derives its water through the melting snows of the mountains enclosing the lake. Further, you will visit New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft. / 16 km / 01 hr from Tsomgo Lake). Later you are returned to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Gangtok. Note: Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir are subject to issues from the tourism department and weather conditions. The Vehicle will be able to drive till Snow point (If there is heavy snow) on the way to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir.
Day 3Day 03: Gangtok Half Day Local Sightseeing – Darjeeling (100 Kms / 4 hrs) Post breakfast check out from the hotel, start for a half day day city tour covering Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (Closed on Sunday and 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Dro-dul Chorten, Ropeway (Ticket at your own cost). Then you are transferred to Darjeeling – “The queen of Hills”. Rest of the day is free or on your own. Stay overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 4Day 04: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing The day starts early with a visit to Tiger hill (Subject to availability of Permit / Token) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. World's third highest peak). On your way back we see Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling covering - Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self help Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view). Rest of the day is free or on your own. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Darjeeling.
Day 5Day 05: Darjeeling - NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (Approx 75 Kms / 3 Hrs.) Enjoy your breakfast & then check out. Drive to New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station/Ixb Airport to continue with your onward journey.
