Day 1Day 01: Delhi - Mathura Being fairly close to the capital (Delhi) your journey for Mathura begins from here. It takes around 3 hours to reach. Check in at the pre booked hotel and after freshening up start exploring the birth place of Lord Krishna. It is scattered with numerous temples having its own significance, the main temple in the town is the Dwarkadheesh temple where the devotees assemble in every festival. Sri Krishna JanmaBhumi is another site to visit, it is the place where Lord Krishna was born; similarly Lord Krishna’s rest place after his triumph over the tyrant Kansa is the VishramGhat. Other points of attraction are the Gita Mandir, Radhakund and more. Drop back at the hotel. Overnight stay in Mathura.
Day 2Day 02: Mathura to Vrindavan After breakfast, you get to find out more about Lord Krishna’s childhood and love interests with your visit to another town near Mathura, Vrindavan. Explore more what all these temples has to offer. The BankeBihari Temple is a very well-known shrine here, the temple to which it is dedicated is believed to have been the great Krishna devotee. The oldest temple in the area is the Madan Mohan Temple; the most beautifully designed temples is the Sri Radha Raman Mandir temple. Other temples are the PremMandir, ISKCON temple, VrindavanChandrodayaMandir and more. Drop back at the hotel. Overnight stay in Mathura
Day 3Day 03: Vrindavan to Agra After an early breakfast, proceed for a check out and start your journey towards Agra which is approx. 58 Km. Check in at the pre booked hotel. After few hours’ relaxation, proceed for a local sightseeing of Agra covering Agra Fort ,Itmad-ud-Daula and Moti Masjid . In the evening explore the local market where you can buy the city’s popular sweet called “Petha” , Marble articles and Leather goods . Drop back at the hotel .Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 4Day 04: Agra - Delhi Wake up early and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site – The TajMahal for a sunrise, explore MehtabBagh and drop back at the hotel for breakfast. Proceed for a check out and start your journey back to Delhi which is approx. 231Km. Drop at Delhi airport or railway station for your onward journey.
