Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Rishikesh to Joshimath (~250 km, 9-11 hrs) via Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag; dinner and hotel stay.
Day 2Drive to Dhak and trek to Gulling (~4-6 km) through villages and forests; camp at ~9,000 ft.
Day 3Gulling to Khullara (~5 km) as forests open into alpine meadows; camp at ~11,800 ft.
Day 4Trek to Kuari Pass (~12,516 ft) for views of Nanda Devi and Dronagiri; return to Khullara camp.
Day 5Descend to Dhak (~10-11 km) and drive to Joshimath; dinner and hotel stay.
Day 6Drive back from Joshimath to Rishikesh, reaching by evening. Trip ends.
