The best way to reach is by road. Base yourself out of Namakkal or Salem. It's a 260 km drive from Bangalore and 360 km from Chennai. The nearest railway station is Salem (90 km), and the nearest airport is Trichy (90 km). From the base at Karavalli, you begin the 70-hairpin bend ascent.
