Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Mumbai – Trimbakeshwar – Grishneshwar – Aurangabad Pickups - 10:00 pm - Dadar East 10:20 pm - Amar Mahal, Ghatkopar East 10:40 pm - Teen Hath Naka, Thane Set off from Mumbai at 5:00 AM and head toward Trimbakeshwar for Darshan. This ancient Hindu temple town is renowned for hosting one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple’s origins are linked to a dispute between Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu over the supremacy of world creation. A distinctive feature of this Jyotirlinga is its three faces, symbolizing Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Rudra. Next, journey to Grishneshwar, the final Jyotirlinga in India, which holds immense significance in the Shaivism tradition. Reflecting South Indian temple architecture, it features a striking five-tiered Shikara and is the smallest Jyotirlinga temple in the country. After Darshan, travel to Aurangabad, check into a hotel, and spend the night.
Day 2Aurangabad – Aundha Nagnath – Parli After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Aundha Nagnath, believed to be the first Jyotirlinga dedicated to Lord Shiva. Legend has it that Yudhishthira, the eldest Pandava, constructed this temple during the Pandavas’ 14-year exile. Spanning 60,000 square feet, the temple showcases the Hemadpanthi architectural style. Following Darshan, continue to Parli, where you’ll check into a hotel and stay overnight.
Day 3Parli Vaijnath – Ozar Post-breakfast, check out and travel to the Parli Vaijnath Jyotirlinga temple, an impressive structure perched on a hill. Facing east, it has entrances from the south and north. The temple, once in ruins, was restored by Ahilyabai Holkar. After Darshan, head to Ozar, where you’ll check into a hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4Ozar – Bhimashankar – Mumbai After breakfast, check out and make your way to Bhimashankar. Nestled in the dense Dakini forests of the Sahyadri ranges, this site is tied to the tale of the wicked Asura Bhima, son of Karkati. Bhima’s reign struck fear into both divine beings and mortals, yet he grappled with existential questions that haunted him. After Darshan, return to Mumbai to conclude the journey.
