Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Manali, expedition briefing, gear check, and stay.
Day 2Scenic drive from Manali to Kaza with acclimatization breaks.
Day 3Rest and short acclimatisation walk in Kaza; permit checks.
Day 4Transfer to Kibber village, final trekking briefing.
Day 5Begin the remote approach trek from Kibber to the first camp.
Day 6Continue ascending across high-altitude terrain to upper camp.
Day 7Trek toward the Parang La approach camp; assess weather.
Day 8Strenuous crossing of the Parang La Pass and descent to camp.
Day 9Trek along the Pare Chu valley with careful river crossings.
Day 10Trek toward Norbu Sumdo on the Tso Moriri side of the trail.
Day 11Transfer toward the stunning Tso Moriri lake.
Day 12Final transfer to Leh and conclusion of the expedition.
