Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Drive from Manali to Udaipur and enter Miyar Valley, overnight at Changut.
Day 2Trek from Changut to Yolithang through stunning alpine terrain.
Day 3Hike deeper into the valley from Yolithang to Zardung meadows.
Day 4Ascend from Zardung to the glacial lakes of Kesar Yon Chhaap.
Day 5Rest and acclimatization day at Kesar Yon Chhaap for high altitudes.
Day 6Navigate rugged moraine terrain to reach Miyar Glacier Camp.
Day 7Gradual ascent over the glacier to the Kang La Base Camp.
Day 8Cross the challenging Kang La Pass (5,465m) and descend to Temasa Tongpo.
Day 9Descend towards the roadhead and drive to Padum in Zanskar.
Day 10Expedition concludes with onward departure from Padum.
