Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Guwahati Arrival | Drive to Cherrapunji Assemble at the boarding point in Guwahati (airport/railway station) and start a chilled-out journey to Cherrapunji. Drive towards Cherrapunji which is popular for its living root bridges and for the abundance of rainfall it receives every year. Enroute Cherrapunji, we’ll take a halt at the popular Umiam Lake which is one of the biggest artificial lakes in Meghalaya. Also, stop at Mawkdok Viewpoint offering a captivating view of a V-shaped valley with lush green slopes on either side. After arriving in Cherrapunji, check-in into our hotel where we'll spend the night and have some leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Cherrapunji.

Day 2Living Root Bridges of Meghalaya Wake up early and post breakfast, we'll proceed towards the Tyrna village for the Double-Decker Living Root Bridge trek. Drive towards Tyrna village which acts as a base point for the widely popular living double-decker root bridge trek. Take a pit stop at the longest known living root bridge - Ritymmen Root Bridge. Trek ahead to reach the resplendent bridge, the Umshiang double decker bridge and capture some #InstaPerfect pictures. Additionally, we’ll also visit Rainbow Waterfall (as per weather conditions). Overnight stay at a hotel in Cherrapunji.

Day 3Drive from Cherrapunji to Shnongpdeng via Mawlynnong Wake up early and post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and we'll proceed towards Shnongpdeng from Cherrapunji. Enroute Shnongpdeng, take a halt at Mawlynnong which is widely known as India's cleanest village. Further we’ll visit the amazing Nohkalikai Waterfall known as the tallest plunge waterfall in Meghalaya positioned at 1115 ft. After arriving in Shnongpdeng, check-in into our camps and have some leisure. Overnight stay in camps in Shnongpdeng.

Day 4Drive from Shnongpdeng to Shillong via Krang Shuri Waterfall Wake up and post breakfast, check-out from the camps and indulge in adventure activities like Cliff Jumping, Boating, and Snorkeling, in the crystal clear waters of Umngot river. Drive back towards Shillong and enroute we’ll visit the Krang Shuri Waterfall which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya with its silky cascading water. After arriving in Shillong, check-in to our comfy hotel and have some leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.

Day 5Drive from Shillong to Guwahati via Laitlum Canyons | Trip Ends Wake up early and post breakfast, check-out from our hotel and drive back to Guwahati. Enroute Guwahati, we'll take a halt at Laitlum Canyons to witness a panoramic view of the lush valleys of Meghalaya. After arriving in Guwahati, the trip ends with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.
