Day 1Guwahati Arrival | Shillong Chill Scenes. Assemble at the boarding point in Guwahati (airport/railway station) and start a chilled-out journey to Shillong which is famously known as the Scotland of the East and is at an altitude of 4908 feet above sea level. After arriving in Shillong, check-in to our comfy hotel, freshen-up and have some leisure. Make the most out of it by chilling with your travel clan at various quaint cafes in Shillong, soak in the colonial charm of Meghalaya’s capital and feel free to stroll around the streets. Overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.
Day 2Shillong Local Exploration | Sightseeing & Activities. Wake up and post breakfast, we’ll head out to explore the major attractions in Shillong. We’ll visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls near Shillong namely Elephant Falls. Next we’ll head towards the Don Bosco Museum in Shillong which houses various indigenous relics and pieces of information regarding the lifestyle of local tribes of North-East India. We’ll take a halt at the popular Umiam Lake which is one of the biggest artificial lakes in Meghalaya. Indulge in adventure activities like paddle boating, water scooter, kayaking, etc. Post exploration, return back to your hotel in Shillong. Overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.
Day 3Day Excursion to Mawlynnong | Boating in Dawki. Wake up and post breakfast, we’ll head out to explore the major attractions around Shillong in Meghalaya. We'll visit Mawlynnong which is widely known as India's cleanest village. Next we'll proceed towards Dawki which is famous for the fascinating turquoise Umngot river, resembling a glass surface. We’ll go boating in the cleanest river in Asia - the Umngot river. Post exploration, return back to your hotel in Shillong. Overnight stay at a hotel in Shillong.
Day 4Drive from Shillong to Cherrapunji via Laitlum Canyons. Wake up and post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and we'll drive towards Cherrapunji which is popular for its living root bridges and for the abundance of rainfall it receives every year. Enroute Cherrapunji, we’ll take a halt at Laitlum Canyons to witness a panoramic view of the lush valleys of Meghalaya. After arriving in Cherrapunji, check-in into our hotel where we'll spend the night and have some leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Cherrapunji.
Day 5Cherrapunji Explorations | Waterfalls & More. Wake up early and post breakfast, we’ll head out to explore the major attractions around Cherrapunji in Meghalaya. We'll proceed towards the Seven Sister falls and further we’ll visit one of the most notable landmarks in Cherrapunji which is the Mawsmai Caves. We'll visit the amazing Nohkalikai Waterfall known as the tallest plunge waterfall in Meghalaya positioned at 1115 ft. In the evening, spend some quality time at Eco Park by soaking in the views of the Sohra Valley from various viewpoints in this nature park. Overnight stay at a hotel in Cherrapunji.
Day 6Drive from Cherrapunji to Guwahati via Umiam Lake | Trip Ends. Wake up early and post breakfast, check-out from our hotel and drive back to Guwahati. After arriving in Guwahati, the trip ends with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.
