Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Srinagar Arrival | Local Sightseeing Arrive at Srinagar's, check-in to your cozy hotel and freshen-up. Afternoon leave for sightseeing to the famous Tulip Garden, Shankaracharya Temple built on the top of the mountain overlooking Dal Lake. Visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. Built in between a period of 14 years the two gardens are a heritage left behind by the erstwhile Mughal. In the evening, enjoy your shikara ride in Dal lake, Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 2Doodhpathri Day Excursion Wake up early and post breakfast, we will begin our country tour towards Doodhpathri. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. Doodhpathri lies in a bowl shaped valley in the Pir Panjal Range Of the Himalayas at an altitude of 2730m {8,957ft} above sea level. It is an alpine valley covered with clad mountains and the meadows of pine fir and deodar. In the evening, return back to Srinagar. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3Aharbal Day Excursion Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast, you can head for a day excursion to Aharbal. Aharbal is a major tourist attraction. It is an ideal destination not just for adventure enthusiasts, but also loved by nature lovers, trekkers and avid photographers. The sheer magnificence of Aharbal, located on the River Veshav is a sight to behold. The place is rightly crowned as ‘Niagara falls of Kashmir’ owing to its stunning and huge waterfall. A walk around will let you experience the beautiful landscapes, abutting snow-clad mountains, coniferous trees, gushing azure blue waterfall, lush green hillside and colourful Orchids. Trout fishing is yet another activity to keep you entertained. Aharbal is also famous for trekking expeditions. Later, head back to Srinagar and return to the hotel to enjoy your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4Naranag Day Excursion After breakfast continue your trip towards Naranag. It’s a place blessed with such beauty that it belongs in your dreams. It is a tourist hamlet and bases for trekking and adventure tours in Ganderbal district of Kashmir valley. One of the most breathtaking moments are felt higher up where the magnificent Gangabal Lake is present. Visit the remains of ancient temples built with large granite blocks. Visit Naranag Temple built in the 8th century, much of which lies in ruins today but is great for sightseeing. Stay overnight to end the day at Hotel in Srinagar.

Day 5Goodbye Kashmir | Trip Ends In the morning, say goodbye to your hosts in Srinagar and leave for the airport. Reach home with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.
