Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Rishikesh Arrival & Drive to Lohajung (7,600 ft) | 280 km. Assemble at ISBT Bus Stand/Railway Station in Rishikesh and drive to Lohajung. Check in to homestay, leisure and dinner.

Day 2Trek from Lohajung to Bekaltal (9,689 ft) | 6 km. Trek through conifer, cedar, oak and fir forest with views of Nanda Ghunti Peak and Kali Valley. Camp at Bekaltal Lake.

Day 3Trek from Bekaltal to Brahmatal Base Camp | 5 km. Steep trek through oak and rhododendron forest to Telandi top meadow then to Brahmatal Lake. Camp with Himalayan views.

Day 4Brahmatal Summit (12,200 ft) to Lohajung | 11 km. Trek via Chota Jhandidar and Bada Jhandidar ridges with 180 degree views of Chaukhambha, Trishul and other peaks. Descend to Lohajung homestay.

Day 5Drive from Lohajung to Rishikesh (280 km). Morning checkout and drive back to Rishikesh ISBT/Railway Station. Trek ends.

Inclusions

Transportation: Tempo Traveler/Bolero or similar (from Rishikesh to Rishikesh).
Accommodation on sharing basis: 2 nights in basic homestay/guesthouse (Lohajung), 1 night in camps (Bekaltal) and 1 night in camps (Brahmatal Base Camp).
Meals: Breakfast+Lunch+Dinner (starting from Dinner on Day 1 till morning tea on Day 5) and complimentary evening tea & snacks. All provided meals are vegetarian only.
Well qualified and experienced trek leader and support staff.
All necessary entry fees and forest permits.
First-Aid medical kit for emergencies.
Camping & trekking equipment - sleeping bags, snow gaiters, microspikes & rope (if required).
Driver allowances, toll taxes, parking, state taxes.

Any extra meals apart from the ones mentioned under inclusions.
Travel Insurance, items of personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry etc.
Any entry fees, extra expenses for optional activities or tickets, unless quoted in Inclusions.
Cost of snow-chained or 4*4 Vehicle if needed due to heavy snowfall.
Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
