How to Reach

The best way to reach Panhal is by your own vehicle. From Pune, take the route towards Lavasa or Panshet, then diverge onto the village roads leading to Panhal. It is roughly a 2.5 to 3-hour drive from Pune. From Mumbai, take the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, exit towards Chandni Chowk, and follow the Lavasa road. State transport (ST) buses are highly infrequent and not reliable for weekend trips.

You can, but the last stretch of the road is rough and unpaved. During the monsoon, ground clearance becomes a real issue due to slush. If you love your car's underbelly, bring an SUV or be prepared to park at the base and walk.
